My sister picked me up a mean tux t-shirt for Christmas and man has my life gotten sweeter; no longer do I run the risk of being under dressed for any occasion. Not only do I look finer than a new set of snow-tires but don’t even have to change for job interviews like the one I had at the local Jiffy Lube. Besides improving my looks this shirt has amazing powers that I believe break the laws of physics—can you bend spoons with your mind?
So if you’re ready to take a step up in your life and gain powers that are written about mainly in comics and conspiracy theory leaflets then maybe a tuxedo t-shirt is in your future.

So thank god for vacation days and lots of em’!!! Cause if storms keep showing up I’m going to be all out by March. I don’t even think I need to pay rent anymore since I spend enough time sleeping on the floor of the Goldminer’s Daughter cafeteria so I can get up there for first chair. I know why there isn’t a support group for people with a powder skiing problem…we are not willing to admit we have a problem.

I am constantly amazed at what my trips to J-hole bring. Who would have thought that my ski boots would be submerged in powder the whole trip–a few of those days will be included in my top ten days of skiing!!!
As usual I was out gunned by my amigos–I thought a Volkl Gotama would be enough. Nope. Everyone was on Volkl Katana’s but one day, mark my words, I’ll have my revenge!!!

I was having a great time skiing knee to waist deep powder all weekend but it got that much better when I started listening to AC/DC’s LIVE album yesterday afternoon. I recommend “the jack” and “who made who?” Today, I’m currently making it rain closures—yes I do sell bottle caps; but I just put on AC/DC LIVE again it made today just that much better. Gratci Angus!
The excitement of fresh snow in the mountains has launched a full-scale attack on the ski area. Parking has hit an all-time high with all lots full and people are now parking on the access road. A first for the newly developed roadways and parking lots for the 2007-08 season. Lines are long, but people seem to be having a great time eating up the fresh snow.

I just spent the last week skiing knee to waist deep powder at Alta & Snowbird and I must say that the tails, or backseat, of my 183mm Volkl Gotama’s are fantastic!!! That paired with a new set of orange powder cords and I’m all ready for my trip to Jackson in two weeks!!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve found that the best way to enjoy a solid powder day,or any day that matter, is to pile fry a pound of bacon. Not only does it save time and cooks the bacon better but it shows that you have a certain level of sophistication in your cooking skills.

Just riding the Thunder Chair and dreaming about December 2008. Tower 3 of the old tram stands idle atop the luxurious egg cartons, sans cables. The footers are poured and ready for the erection of the new tower beginning sometime in the spring of 2007.
What looks like the new tram dock is really just a temporary building to work under while pouring concrete.
