Always Be Prepared
We have a saying around here that is a mantra of Repair Superstar Mitch Luedloff. The saying goes: “It is better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it”. Sounds silly, but when you head out into the great wilderness that is the Rocky Mountain West they are words to live by. Fortunately, for the two women shown above they happened to be rafting with people who take this mantra to heart. Their rafting companions had enough spare jackets for everyone in the boat. Which was good because shortly after putting onto the river a rain/hail storm blew through the area. Thunder, lightning pouring rain and small hailstones make for a fun adventure if you are prepared. If not it can be miserable and possibly dangerous.
So let this be a leason to everyone. If you are going into the wilderness on an adventure bring everything you might need in case the weather goes south. Or bring people who will have extra gear for you.

Funny, many of my friends take this same philosophy to heart for tailgates. Generally, it only relates to beer, but our car is generally packed with more hats, mittens, gloves, and jackets than just 2 people could ever need.
