June 19, 2010 marks the first warm, sunny and almost rain free weekend in Jackson Hole since probably early April. This weekend a few members of the TVS crew got out on the Hoback River for an alumni birthday. We had along with us a 65 Quart Yeti Cooler, a top seller at TetonVillageSports.com. Inside was about 50 beers, a couple sammies and a box of wheat thins. The Yeti comes with a basket inside to keep your dry goods safe. We had a great day on the river, cold beers for all!

On Sunday afternoon, TVS employee, Deb Carpenter was driving back to Jackson from Targhee and saw this grizzly by Mail Cabin Creek Trailhead (across from the Coal Creek parking lot). This area is heavy used by skiers, boarders and snowshoers. Be careful out there, bring your bear spray, or maybe just avoid this area for a little while! Thanks for the update Deb!
My first couple days in Portillo did not start out like I wanted, I got some type of food poisoning or a flu. I was stuck in bed for 2 days, but the last two days have been so much fun that it has made up for the horrible days in bed!
