F.O.D. The Ice Fishing Edition
Teton Village Sports customer Fast Freddie Wilkins just sent us a picture of his latest ice fishing success. Eat your heart out Mike.
F.O.D. 11-13-2009 Steelhead!
Many people believe that the famed “Steelhead Trout” do not actually exist. Probably because they are almost as rare as two horned unicorns. I myself am a doubter of the existence of steelhead. Fortunately, Teton Village Sports Fishing Ambassador Mike Spector does all he can to prove me wrong. Here is Mike with a 27″ sea run rainbow trout A.K.A. Steelhead Trout.

I bet you didn’t know that The North Face makes fishing gloves.

I know, it is hard to follow two great skiing posts with a fishing post. I guess I need to tell myself that skiing is still a few months away and that the fishing is going off right now. Here is nice little brown trout that Blue Thunder and the Tose picked up yesterday. Is it flyfishing if you are using plastic patterns?

Once again, Grand Fishing Adventures Guide Mitch Luedloff proves that he is a trout whisperer. If you find yourself in the greater Yellowstone area and want to fish with the best look Mitch up. If you are lucky he will teach you how to tie some of his custom patterns. I wouldn’t hold your breath though.
I don’t know what these two used to catch this monsta native, but I’d bet it was a pattern that you have never heard of.
Mike Spector reported in with his first trout of 2010. Nice rainbow.

Hampton Kew with Cutthroat Trout and Cigar. Hampton points out that cigars are included in the price of the guided trip. Sounds to good to be true. I can’t be sure, but this looks like some of the fine trout water that Wilson, WY has to offer.
Teton Village Sports customer John Lewis with a nice Idaho Brown Trout.
Hey Mitch, thanks for the picture of this fine Fall Cutty. I had to get it from Spector.
